On Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., pet owners from across the community will have a chance to receive low cost vaccines for their animals. One of the most important and required-by-law vaccines is rabies for your cat and dog. You can get this vaccine for only $5! Many other vaccinations, testing, and preventatives will be available. The service is on a first come, first served basis so no appointment is necessary

We’re teaming up with our friends at Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) to offer Affordable Vaccine Clinics right here at Dallas Animal Services. Vaccines are critical to keeping your pet healthy! The rabies vaccine is required for all pets in the City of Dallas.

These vaccine clinics are for both dogs and cats. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. No appointment or tickets are needed but please arrive early to make sure you receive service and prepare for a line.

Spanning five acres of grassland, the dog park is a fully fenced double-gated space with separate enclosed sections for large and small dogs. The park has several features including a dog rinse station located on the outside of each fenced area, waste pickup/disposal stations, water stations, benches & picnic tables. Shade shelters provide relief from summer heat and inclement weather, and the park also has LED lighting for those visiting after sunset. The dog park closes from sunrise to 4pm each Wednesday for routine maintenance.
